Cassie: Do you know what hurts most about a broken heart? Not being able to remember how you felt before... try and keep that feeling, because... if it goes... you'll never get it back
Chris: What happens then?
Cassie: You lay waste to the world... and everything in it.

You must give up a life you planned in order to have the life that’s waiting for you.
Joseph Campbell

It becomes unbearably difficult when you are forced to have answers to all the questions.  Sometimes you are okay with not having the answers, while everyone else is still asking why.  I think ‘I don’t know’ can be a perfectly adequate answer.  In the least, it is better than lying and making up something that you only halfheartedly believe in.

If you will call your troubles experiences, and remember that every experience develops some latent force within you, you will grow vigorous and happy, however adverse your circumstances may seem to be.

Want someone to stop texting you?

Send them this text:

Error 23: SMS Not Delivered; The number (insert your number here) has blocked you. Please Try again later.

Every time they text you or “try” to text you just resend that. It works, someone wouldn’t leave me alone and I sent them that and the texts stopped for two years.

There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.
